On the evening of May 22, 2025, at Xiaomi’s 15th Anniversary Strategic New Product Launch Conference, Lei Jun, Chairman and CEO of Xiaomi Group, delivered a speech.
At the conference, Xiaomi’s first SUV model, the Xiaomi YU7, made its debut. Lei Jun stated that the pronunciation of “YU7” is “Yu,” symbolizing “riding the wind,” and it is positioned as a luxurious and high-performance SUV.
The dimensions of the Xiaomi YU7 are 4999mm in length, 1996mm in width, and 1600mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3000mm and an impressively low drag coefficient of 0.245. Lei Jun introduced three colors of the Xiaomi YU7 this time: Gem Green, Titanium Metal Color, and Lava Orange.
In terms of the interior, it is equipped with the Xiaomi Sky Screen panoramic display, which adopts panoramic curved surface projection technology and can display key information according to needs. The front row features dual zero-gravity seats that support one-click reclining. The rear row has a 135° luxurious electric seat with adjustable angles. There are three interior color options and a storage space of 1970L.
In terms of performance, it is equipped with the Xiaomi Super Motor V6s Plus. The 0-100km/h acceleration can be achieved in as fast as 3.23 seconds, with a maximum horsepower of 690ps, a peak power of 508kw, and a maximum speed of 253km/h.
The Xiaomi YU7 comes in three versions: the Xiaomi YU7 single-motor rear-wheel drive, the Xiaomi YU7 Pro dual-motor four-wheel drive, and the Xiaomi YU7 Max dual-motor high-performance four-wheel drive. The entire series is based on an 800V silicon carbide high-voltage platform, with a maximum charging rate of 5.2C. The Xiaomi YU7 uses a 96.3kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, achieving a CLTC range of 835km. The Xiaomi YU7 Pro also uses a 96.3KWh lithium iron phosphate battery, with a CLTC range of 770km. The Xiaomi YU7 Max uses a 101.7kWh ternary lithium battery, boasting a CLTC range of 760km.
