Sina Technology News, at noon on May 20, Tencent officially launched the Hunyuan Game Visual Generation Platform (referred to as “Hunyuan Game”), which is the first industrial-grade AIGC game content production engine built on the Hunyuan large model, greatly optimizing the game asset generation and game production processes. Aiming at industrial-grade game content production, it provides a series of AI tools for game art designers, helping game design manufacturers quickly generate high-quality game materials/concept drafts that meet their creative intentions, and increasing the efficiency of game art design by dozens of times.

It is reported that Hunyuan Game is based on the Hunyuan image generation and video generation large models, and has been deeply optimized for game art design scenarios, making the model understand game art better and be more able to understand common terms in game art. Based on a multi-modal high-quality dataset of millions of game and animation videos collected across different fields, Hunyuan Game innovatively constructs a matrix of multiple core algorithm models, and each model is specially optimized for the key pain points in game development.

Currently, the “Hunyuan Game” provides an experience entrance through the official website of Tencent Hunyuan and is open for application to game industry designers. The capabilities that have been launched in the current stage of Hunyuan Game include core capabilities such as the AI art pipeline, real-time canvas, AI 2D art generation, and professional character multi-view generation, focusing on the game art concept design link. Overall, designers can input hand-drawn sketches and prompt words, or just prompt words, and quickly turn their inspiration into high-quality design drawings and multi-views for 3D modeling.

In addition to the capabilities that have been open for experience application, the Hunyuan Game Visual Generation Platform also has more capabilities that are still under internal research and testing and have not been launched yet. This time, in the form of a technical report, Tencent also comprehensively demonstrated and shared with the industry the Hunyuan-Game series of large models for game visual generation of Tencent Hunyuan, including four game image generation models and five game visual generation models, etc.
